What are your hours of service?
Service hours are 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When the office is closed our clients continue to have someone available to assist them.
Office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday – Friday
There are no additional charges for weekend hours.
Is there a minimum amount of hours that I must schedule for service?
No, we can provide a quick visit or 24/7 service depending on the client’s specific needs.
How do I arrange services with TSS?
Call our office at 636-734-7334. Some services can be arranged directly over the phone while other services will need a complimentary in home evaluation. We do not require a contract. All services are set up on a Service Plan.
How quickly can TSS provide service?
Once we have an understanding of your needs and have verified that an appropriate staff member is available, services can begin immediately or at your convenience.
Will I always have the same caregiver?
TSS makes every effort to send the caregiver with whom you are familiar. If your regular caregiver is unable to work a scheduled shift due to illness or some other emergency, we will do everything possible to find a suitable substitute. Naturally, we will keep you informed of any changes.
Why should I hire TSS instead of finding someone on my own which may cost slightly less?
Most people do not think much about in home care until the need arises. TSS can alleviate the stress and provide peace of mind by handling the employment process. You will not have to spend time to:
- Interview candidates, call references, and conduct criminal background checks
- Cover if your caregiver calls in sick, or has their own personal emergency.
- Ensure your caregiver has the right training and skills.
- Cover the legally required employer payroll taxes, including Social Security, Medicare, and unemployment.
- Provide workers’ compensation in case the caregiver gets hurt on the job.
- Supervise day to day.
- Provide coverage if your caregiver quits
What makes TSS different from other providers?
Our caregivers record their arrival and departure via a toll free number from the client’s telephone. The system provides caregiver accountability, management responsiveness, and peace of mind for the families.
Most non-medical home care agencies do not have a nurse on staff, however, we feel this is important to maintaining the high quality care that we give.
TSS provides a wide variety of in home services to meet your needs. Many families are able to use our service versus 3-4 separate services making TSS an affordable solution for in home care.

How much does TSS charge for services?
Most services are billed on an hourly basis. TSS has affordable hourly rates that are tailored to your needs. We are committed to keeping our rates affordable while at the same time providing the highest quality of service. Please contact us to learn more about our pricing.
What method of payment does TSS accept?
Payment for all services can be made by check, money order, or cashier’s check. Billing is sent out weekly unless other arrangements are made.
What are the payment options for home care?
Private pay is the most common. In this case, the client and/or his family pay us directly for services.
Long-Term Care Insurance is another option. Every policy is a little bit different, but we will be happy to assist you in checking on your coverage and filing your claims.
Workers Compensation Insurance will pay for home care if the need is created by an on-the-job injury.
The Veteran’s Administration sometimes provides benefits to veterans and surviving spouses, but the process can be difficult to navigate and can take time. If you think you or your loved one may be eligible, we can put you in touch with people who can provide guidance.
